Minha resposta (com um dos meus screen names no Youtube, Shony Kelet) ao comentarista (AJ Ace A-N ) que contestou a origem meda dos curdos (ele afirma serem eles descendentes dos Partas [Parthians], outro povo indo-iraniano) na página do maravilhoso video supracitado:

E, falando no assunto, uma interessante tese ligando os Partas e Citas (indo-europeus) aos Israelitas (semitas que na verdade, segundo historiadores modernos, são tão canaanitas como os demais do Levante):

 O que é tanto quão interessante é que Helena P. Blavatsky, co-fundadora da Teosofia justamente com  Henry Steel Olcott e William Quan Judge, afirmava que os Hebreus são um ramo indo-europeu que se perdera cedo das tribos irmãs, perdendo assim muitos dos seus traços originais comuns a esta família cultural. 
Segundo a história, a arqueologia e a linguística, os hebreus são considerados semitas pela língua em si, enquanto que, geneticamente, são tão levantinos quanto os demais irmãos da região (descendentes dos assírios, fenícios, etc).

Alguns arqueólogos modernos os classificam (i.e. aos hebreus) como canaanitas também, no que concordo plenamente, sendo El e Asherah (Ilu e Athirat em ugarítico) os nomes do mesmo El judaico e sua energia feminina, a Shekhinah ou Shabbat HaMalkha.
