"While more associated with Eastern religions, the notion of reincarnation is not foreign to Judaism. Indeed, through the centuries, the topic has been earnestly debated among the great rabbis. Some were adamant that, as a matter of the theology, reincarnation is not an authentic theological matter related to Judaism (including Saadia Gaon, Chasdai Crescas, and Yosef Albo, among others). Conversely, Nachmanides, Sagi Nahor, Menachem Recanati, and Bachaya ben Asher were adamant that this is true Jewish theology. If, for the sake of argument, that one was to lean towards the camp that believes reincarnation is a legitimate Jewish theological tenet, the question then arises: what are the moral implications of such a belief?..."

É interessante também ler este artigo de um link do site Beet-Eating Heeb, em outra postagem desta página do Facebook, sobre uma passagem do Talmud na qual é contada a história de quando o rabi Judah HaNasi negou-se a proteger um bezerro que tentou com ele se refugiar do terrível sacrifício e o que aconteceu ao rabi por anos em consequência disto (do Bava Metzia 85a.) :

2a nota : O significado de "heeb", dado pela Wikipedia:
Ou seja, é uma variante do insulto "hebe" , forma curta pejorativa e insultosa usada como "racial slur" (insulto racial) do vocábulo "hebrew" (hebreu), da qual os judeus norte-americanos se apropriaram e usaram como forma de fortalecimento da minoria, pela dissolução do estigma por ela gerado ao usarem-na como forma de asserção étnica.
É importante não confundir esta forma curta de Hebrew com o acrônimo "HEEB", que quer dizer "High Energy Electro Beam" (Raio Elétrico de Alta Energia):

Embora possa ser traduzida pelos significados dados nos dicionários online Blá Blá e Linguee, aqui caberia mais o dado pelo site Tecla SAP, do professor Ulisses Wehby de Carvalho, como "fortalecimento", já que a forma aportuguesada do termo original inglês é relativamente recente na nossa língua e, por isso, pouco conhecida ainda (o que não significa que a tradução "empoderamento", para este uso em referência a minorias sociais ou étnicas, esteja errado, pelo contrário, só que ainda não é do conhecimento geral):
