 "The Ukrainian Art Song Project is pleased to announce 2 concerts in Ukraine Україна - June 5 in Kyiv and June 9 in Lviv featuring PAVLO HUNKA , internationally acclaimed bass-baritone. SHEVCHENKO and SHAKESPEARE will be paired in a program featuring art songs by classical Ukrainian composers based on the poems of Shevchenko and also Oleksander Jakovchuk's glorious song cycle "Song of Love" composed to the words of 12 of Shakespeare's sonnets, translated into Ukrainian."
