Ukrainian Folk Rock trio "Polyanytsi" performs their original composition "Pohid". Obs.: Foi necessário adicionar artigos em alguns versos na tradução inglesa.
Professional musicians Solomiya Gorokhivska (violin, vocal), Alona Ielizarova (flute, vocal),and Tetiana Chaban (bandura, vocal) have been working together since 2004. The name of the trio originates from the legend of graceful but strong women-warriors who lived in the steppes of Ukraine in ancient times. The freedom-loving spirit of the Ukrainian Amazons is expressed in the trio's music: deep memories of the nation in the cords of Bandura (Ukrainian traditional instrument), speed of movement and change in the passages of Flute, human soul in the laments of Violin are all combined with the most universal instrument - Voice. The result is an unforgettable moment of Past and Future meeting in a virtuoso musical mix of ancient authentic intonations along with modern rhythms and styles. Colorful attires of the girls and a variety of dance moves augment musical compositions and create a unique fascinating show. "
